Five on Saturday - January 12, 2019

Hi everyone - happy Saturday! I hope you all had a great week! Mine was rather busy - it included a work trip up to Edmonton; but, since my husband and I were both training up there a day apart from each other, we decided to pack up the family and make a quick trip out of it! If anyone tells you that travelling with a toddler is easy, they are probably lying! It was a pretty crazy 2 days with a very busy little boy! 

ONE 

I got a day with the boys in West Edmonton Mall and despite the look on Elliott's face, he actually loved watching the Sea Lion show and then seeing the animals after - they have sharks, turtles and penguins to look at! Then they spent the next day at the waterpark while I was working! 

TWO

I didn't do any shopping the whole day I had the kids in the mall; but, after the little guy went to bed, I got a little time to myself to do some shopping and I was so happy to go check out Simon's! 

I rarely ever buy myself new clothes, so lately I've been picking up a couple new things and I always need new tops! So, I found some pretty tops and some cute, casual ones. Plus, I found these jeans called Yoga Jeans and they are sooo comfortable! 

THREE 

And, when I was at Simon's too I found these adorable little cat goodies - a new lunch bag and a little catchall tray! 

FOUR 

I'm excited that we are 2 weeks in to 2019 and I've already finished my first book of the year (yes, I always listen to audiobooks as I have a long drive to work!)

Unfortunately, I wasn't a huge fan of this book - it didn't do it for me! If you are a reader and have a GoodReads account, add me here! I love seeing other peoples reviews and book recommendations! I'm going to try and read 40 books this year and need some suggestions! 

FIVE 

And, I'm still carrying on my Palette of the Week this year, at least until I make it through my whole collection! This week's was the ColourPop My Little Pony palette and it's such a gorgeous palette - the shadows are so pretty and fun! It was a little hard for my work week; but, I loved it! You can see it swatched and on me here!
