Getting Out Before The Snow Falls

I started out my morning with a walk in the neighborhood.

This lovely lady lives in the front yard of a neighbor,
they had the yellow ribbon out for Halloween :)
 Here's a close up.

I love the bright colors in this Tamarack tree.
It is beautiful against the blue sky.

Then Steve called and said that he needed to drive up to the state park
to make  a bid on a job,
and would I like to ride along.
Of course I would . . .
so I grabbed my camera and away we went.

This is what the sagebrush looks like when it goes to seed.

This is from a hill above the park.

Look closely at this photo . . .
in the circle you will see a little red train caboose.
How it got there I do not know, but when I was going to college
there was a young man in one of my classes that lived there.
He told me that he and his wife turned the little skylight room into
their toddler daughter's bedroom.
What a view!

Winter is coming, so I plan on getting outside
as much as possible and enjoying the crisp fall weather.
I wish that I could invite you all to walk with me :)

Keep Smiling.

Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
