Although it is more than three weeks ago, I would still like to show you some of the pictures of Normandy. I hope you don't mind.
They were taken in the village Honfleur, nearby Le Havre. Honfleur is a very touristy, but charming village. We spent a whole day there, strolling through the ancient streets, along quaint façades, gardens and windowsills full of geraniums.
The harbour, the galleries with the most beautiful (but expensive) paintings and nice shops were worthwhile too. My daughters especially liked the old carousel, in which they took a ride. My husband and I watched them. I must say that later on I did regret I did not take a ride myself :-)
