Klorine Quinine and B vitamins Shampoo

I bought a series of small but luxurious shampoos at iu Antwerp the other day, to test them before buying the products in their real volumes. My hair was rough from all the dyeing I had done, and I was looking to smooth and repair it. One of the bottles I bought was from a brand called Klorine, which is fairly new to me.

I bought a small bottle of the Kinine and B vitamines shampoo for around 5 euros, which is actually meant for travelling, but whatever.

There were hundreds of hair products to choose from. So why did I pick this one? First of all the product size, of course, not all brands offer travel sized bottles for me to try out. Secondly, this brand looked very pure and natural, with the Quinine plant on the label, not to be confused with keratine, which is also a hair product ingrediënt. Then there was the focus on the repair factor by mentioning lifeless hair, hair loss and B vitamins. I hadn't heard of Quinine, but it looks a little like edelweiss in a way.

Parthenium integrifolium (Wild Quinine) matures to 4' and has white, dense, cauliflower-looking flowers. It prefers medium soil conditions, and grows best in full sun. Wild Quinine can be seen blooming June through September.

Wild Quinine is typically found in dry areas of prairies and open woods. The leaves have been used for tea in order to reduce fevers, hence the names Wild Quinine and Feverfew. The flowers attract Halictine bees, wasps, flies, beetles, and plant bugs. The beetles usually feed on the pollen, while the other insects seek nectar.

I used a third of the travel sized bottle (100 ml)on my long hair, lathered it thoroughly, and then conditioned it with a smoothing conditioner from Pantène.

When I dried my hair a few hours later I noticed that my hair had become more thick and moisturised, which made it a lot easier to dry it straight. For once, my hair didn't look like that of a horse's tail. As usual I did use my straightener afterwards, but the straightening went a lot faster as well. Afterwards my hair felt silky smooth, and I know it wasn't from my usual straightening or from the conditioner. My hair had clearly gained in moisture, thickness, smoothness and strength.

I'm very pleased with this shampoo, I might get the "life size" bottle if the rest of the travel size bottle keeps delivering this result.
